By using the Roadcosts Greece services, you declare that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to use the service in accordance with them and with applicable law.

Roadcosts Greece is an information and calculation service that helps users estimate information relating to routes and travel in Greece.

Depending on the available functionality, the service may provide information or calculations relating to:

3. Route calculations

Routes, distances and estimated travel times may originate from or be calculated with the assistance of third-party map providers and routing services.

We do not guarantee that:

the suggested route is the shortest or most economical
all roads are available or accessible
temporary traffic regulations have been taken into account
roadworks, accidents, restrictions or road closures have been taken into account
the calculated time will correspond to the actual travel time
or that every piece of information provided by a third party is complete and up to date

The user must always comply with the Road Traffic Code, road signs, instructions from the competent authorities and the actual conditions of the road network.

4. Do not use while driving

You must not operate the application or website in a way that distracts your attention while driving.

Set your route and perform calculations before starting your journey or when the vehicle is stopped in a safe location.

Safe driving and compliance with road traffic laws always take priority over the information displayed by Roadcosts Greece.

5. Fuel cost and consumption

Fuel calculations are estimates.

The actual cost may vary depending on factors such as:

6. Tolls

Roadcosts Greece makes efforts to ensure that information relating to toll stations and toll prices is useful and up to date.

However, toll prices, vehicle categories, discounts, payment methods and station operation may be changed by the relevant concessionaires or competent authorities without prior notice to Roadcosts Greece.

The displayed prices should therefore be considered informational estimates.

If the exact price is important to the user, it is recommended that it be confirmed with the official provider of the relevant motorway.

7. Taxi fare calculation

The taxi calculator provides an estimate of the possible cost of a journey based on the information and parameters available at the time of calculation.

The final legal fare is determined in accordance with applicable law, the actual conditions of the journey, waiting time, any lawful additional charges and the legal taxi meter where applicable.

The Roadcosts Greece estimate does not constitute a binding offer or agreement with a driver or taxi company.

The actual price at the time of purchase may differ from the price displayed by the service.

9. Weather information

Any weather-related information is provided solely for general information purposes and may originate from third-party providers.

It does not constitute an official meteorological warning or emergency service.

In the event of dangerous weather conditions, the user should consult official announcements issued by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, Civil Protection or another competent authority.

10. Service stations and points of interest

Information about service points, fuel stations, stations, businesses or other facilities may originate from third parties.

We do not guarantee that every point:

remains in operation
is located exactly at the position displayed
provides specific services
operates during the hours displayed
or still has the same contact information

11. “Call a taxi” functionality

Roadcosts Greece may display contact information for companies, cooperatives or other taxi service providers.

The display of a telephone number does not imply a commercial partnership, certification or recommendation of the specific provider, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Roadcosts Greece is not a party to any agreement that may be concluded between the user and a taxi provider and is not responsible for the provision of the relevant transport service.

12. Third-party services and data

Roadcosts Greece relies in part on information, APIs, maps, data or technical services provided by third parties.

Third-party providers may modify, limit or discontinue their services or change their data without this being under the control of Roadcosts Greece.

Consequently, we cannot guarantee the continuous availability, accuracy or completeness of every piece of information obtained from a third-party source.

13. Advertisements

The website and mobile application may display third-party advertisements for purposes including supporting the operating and development costs of the service.

Advertisements may be provided by external advertising networks.

The display of an advertisement does not constitute approval, a guarantee or a recommendation by Roadcosts Greece regarding:

or any claim contained in it

14. Mobile application and App Stores

The Roadcosts Greece application may be made available through application distribution platforms such as Google Play, Apple App Store or other app stores.

Use of the relevant app store is additionally governed by the terms and policies of the platform provider.

Roadcosts Greece may publish application updates for:

adding or removing functionality
performance improvements
compliance with new operating system versions

Certain functions may require an updated version of the application.

15. Usage rights and intellectual property

or that the result of a calculation will correspond to the actual cost of a trip

This provision does not limit warranties or rights that cannot be excluded by law.

21. Limitation of liability

The user is responsible for the final decision relating to the route, journey, choice of means of transport and use of the information provided.

Roadcosts Greece should not be used as the sole source for decisions where the accuracy of information is critical to the safety of persons or property.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising solely from inaccurate, delayed or unavailable information from a third-party provider, where such damage could not reasonably have been prevented by us.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability may not be excluded or limited by law.

These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

22. Personal data

The processing of personal data relating to the website, mobile application, location, analytics, cookies and advertisements is described in detail in the Roadcosts Greece Privacy Policy.

23. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms where required due to changes:

to the operation of the service
to third-party providers
to technology
to applicable law
or to security requirements

The latest update date is stated at the beginning of this text.

Where required by applicable law, material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner.

24. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Greek law, subject to the mandatory provisions of European Union law and consumer protection law.

If you are a consumer habitually residing in another country of the European Economic Area, these Terms do not deprive you of the protection granted to you by the mandatory provisions of law applicable to you.

25. Severability
