This Cookie Policy applies to roadcosts.gr. It explains cookies and similar technologies used, or potentially used, on the website. It supplements our Privacy Policy. The Android app also uses local storage and SDK identifiers, which are not necessarily the same as browser cookies.
Cookies are small items of information stored by or read through your browser. They may be first-party cookies from roadcosts.gr or third-party cookies. Some expire when your session ends; others last for a set period. Similar technologies include local storage and service identifiers.
| Name or family | Provider and purpose | Period/condition |
|---|---|---|
roadcosts_consent | Roadcosts; stores necessary, statistics, ads, or both, and whether ads are personalized | 180 days |
pll_language | Polylang; language selection if enabled | Depends on plugin settings |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics; analytics identifiers if you allow statistics | Depends on Google Analytics settings and the consent configuration |
Google advertising cookies, such as IDE and _gcl_* | Google AdSense; advertising, only after you allow ads | Set by Google |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-* | WordPress; authorized administrators’ authentication and settings | Depends on WordPress sessions/settings |
| Possible caching / anti-spam cookies | WordPress plugins or Google reCAPTCHA where active | Depends on the live configuration/provider and requires browser verification |
This table reflects technologies used by the site and the integrations named by the operator. It is not a verified exhaustive inventory of every cookie a provider may set. The Polylang and WordPress rows describe the previous website. This site does not set those cookies. Language and the color theme stay in local storage (language, theme). A staff sign-in uses the roadcosts session cookie.
The website uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-LPNFFCPJQP, for statistics. It uses Google AdSense, publisher ca-pub-2492096443153002, for ads on public pages. Staff and admin pages do not load AdSense. Depending on the settings, these services may process page views, browser information, broad geographic information, technical signals, ad requests, and interactions.
Before you choose, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization stay denied. The Analytics tag loads only after you allow statistics, and that choice sets analytics_storage to granted. The AdSense script loads only after you allow ads. That choice sets ad_storage and ad_user_data to granted. Personalized ads also set ad_personalization to granted. If personalized ads are off, ad_personalization stays denied. Those ads are general, but they still use advertising cookies and send ad data to Google.
A statistics value saved on the previous website still means statistics on and ads off. It does not allow AdSense until you change it.
On the first visit the bar offers Accept all and Settings. Accept all allows statistics, ads, and personalized ads. Settings is where you reject statistics, ads, or both: those switches start off, and Reject optional saves necessary cookies only. If you allow ads, you can turn personalized ads on or off. The choice is stored in roadcosts_consent for 180 days. Cookie settings in the footer opens the same switches with your saved choice. Turning a purpose off stops future storage for that purpose. It does not always delete cookies already stored. You can remove those in your browser settings. Deleting roadcosts_consent shows the bar again. You can also block cookies in your browser, which may affect some features.
Important: Continued browsing is not consent. Consent for one optional purpose does not authorize unrelated processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
The contact form may use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. When active, verification tokens, IP address and associated technical data are sent to Google. Pages featuring maps may connect to Google Maps or other map-content providers, which may process technical visit data. Read Google’s Privacy Policy.
The Android app stores preferences such as language, vehicle and consumption settings, temporary account-access information and caches on the device. Fingerprint is used for device identification at sign-in, and AdMob with Google UMP manages advertising privacy choices for the Free plan. In Android versions containing this feature, the Information screen may show “Advertising privacy” to reopen Google’s privacy options form when Google requires an entry point. After the form closes, the app rechecks whether it can request ads, hiding or reloading the banner as appropriate. The entry point does not appear in the browser version and may be unavailable in older installed Android releases. These technologies are distinct from website browser cookies. See our Privacy Policy.
